I wanted to thank you properly for your amazing work this past season. You are extremely good at your job and my work so much easier. You are fast and efficient and provide the cast with a wonderful environment. I enjoyed getting to know you this season and hope we can work together again soon. Your instincts are bang on and your creativity has no limits. Honestly the first time I felt in character was the first time you did my hair. It could finally begin to visualize the part I was playing. Thank you for helping me construct a character
To Whom it May Concern,
Lydia Pensa is without doubt one of the best hairdressers I have worked with over the years. I am writing this letter to make clear that one films where we work as colleagues, although I have been the Head of Department (ie for “Driven”, “K19, The Widowmaker” and “Bulletproof monk”), that Lydia and I work as a team. This means although we have our own actors coif, we also switch back and forth with the cast members allowing a better balance and support for our cast. Everyone knows we are equally capable and are therefore comfortable and familiar with this method of our attention to their care.
If Lydia gives credits or submits photos which are similar or the same as my own, it is with my blessing as she does do most of the cast a lot of the time. She usually takes on the hair color jobs we don’t have done by outside colorists. The time is coming when Lydia will be on of our top keys in the Hair dressing department of IATSE Local 873. Lydia is such support for me on the job and I will miss her when that time comes. I know anyone who deals with Lydia is meeting an artist with Integrity, skill and creative talent
